I was hooked!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What is the most rewarding part about your work?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>When someone feels totally hopeless about their debt, and I get to help them realize that there\u2019s hope and a way out of it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>How would you describe your philosophy or approach when working with clients in debt?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It\u2019s all about recognizing you\u2019re talking to someone in a vulnerable financial position. So it\u2019s very simple: Be compassionate and understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What advice would you give to someone who\u2019s hesitant to reach out for help with their debt?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I often tell clients who are nervous about the program, \u201cI have been practicing law for over 35 years \u2014 do you think I would jeopardize my law license for something that wasn\u2019t legitimate or didn\u2019t work?\u201d That helps put people at ease!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What\u2019s your life like outside the office?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I enjoy riding horses and Harleys, spending time at the beach, and being around my adult children whenever I can.<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What inspired you to pursue a career in law?&nbsp; I was a Business Major in College and took a Business Law class.
